Ranveer Singh calls trolls commenting on Deepika Padukone’s baby bump ‘buri nazar wale’

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to embrace parenthood this year. A few days back, when the actress stepped out to cast a vote, she was brutally trolled. However, she went live on Friday and showed netizens that her baby bump isn’t fake. And now, Ranveer Singh has heaped praise on his wife Deepika Padukone shelling out husband goals.

Ranveer Singh shuts down trolls questioning Deepika Padukone

The Fighter actress recently made a chic appearance in a stylish yellow maternity dress. After she shared a series of pictures, her husband Ranveer Singh couldn’t resist complimenting her. The proud husband posted a picture with the caption, “Uff! Kya Karun main? Marr jaun?” On another picture, he wrote, “buri nazar wale tera moonh kala,” accompanied by an evil eye. In the last picture, he affectionately called Deepika his sunshine.

Interestingly, this comes a day after Deepika Padukone made her first public appearance since the trolling. The Pathaan actress went live on her Instagram handle on Friday and talked about the range of her beauty products.

Why was Deepika Padukone trolled?

Power couple Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy in March this year. The couple is all set to welcome their first child in September. A few days back, are expecting their first child in September. Earlier this week, Deepika flaunted her baby bump for the first time when she stepped out to vote in the fifth phase of Mumbai Lok Sabha Election 2024. With her pictures taking over the internet, certain sections of social media users body-shamed and called her baby bump ‘fake’.
